    M365 Copilot Engineer is responsible for consulting, designing, developing, configuring and deploying modernized Microsoft 365 solutions for our Federal business. The candidate must have experience with Office 365 and should be able to articulate business transformation with Copilot and using the Microsoft Cloud. Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to engage clients, drive business and assess needs are critical.

    Responsibilities

    + Assess M365 environments to determine readiness for Copilot deployment including infrastructure, security considerations, compliance and the ability to hydrate the Microsoft Graph API then deliver enablement workshops based on technical assessment of individual client needs.

    + Drive development of modernization opportunities using M365 technology including collaboration, organizational change management perspective opportunities

    + Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance and automate tasks within a specific context, such as software development, data analysis, or Microsoft 365.

    + These engineers are responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered solutions, often using large language models (LLMs) and other advanced AI technologies.

    + Configure, manage and deploy M365 in multiple cloud tenants and ideally GCC environments

    + Leading live (both in person and through Teams) presentations for groups (up to 200+) that are engaging and accessible to all levels of participants up to C-level executives to engage team participation

    + Collaboration with internal teams to provide support in all areas necessary

    Requirements

    + All facets of working with M365 administration

    + Hands on Copilot deployment experience and demonstrate knowledge of best practices utilizing SharePoint and the Microsoft technology stack

    + Working familiarity with the Microsoft Azure platform, including Azure AD

    + Knowledge of PowerShell including Microsoft Office 365 native modules and community modules such as PNP and PowerShell

    + Understand enterprise scale systems built on Microsoft technologies, both on-premises and cloud-based environments (GCC)

    + Experience migration of file shares, SharePoint and cloud-based file repositories to Office 365.

    + Demonstrate knowledge of Application Architecture best practices, existing and emerging technology platforms, architectural and systems engineering

    + Strong presentation skills, as well as the ability to create and deliver customized solutions.

    + Ability to successfully work on and deliver multiple projects simultaneously, either independently or within a small team

    Essentials

    + Ability to go on site in the Metro DC area as needed

    + Microsoft Certifications Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals; Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

    + Any clearance is a plus

    Salaries for M365 Copilot Engineers at Planet Technologies range from $150,000 and $200,000. Several factors will impact final pay offered to a successful candidate including but not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, clearance level, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, training, etc.
