Description
Overall Responsibilities :
+ Collaborate with digital, programming, promotions/marketing, and sales teams to produce creative, high-quality videos to be used for advertising clients, internal marketing & promotions, and as digital content.
+ Play an active role in generating content ideas and new methods and procedures to enhance the efficient operation of video production within the digital department.
+ Provide backup support to Creative Director in audio production including writing ad copy and production/ voicing of ads.
Specific Responsibilities :
+ Plan, shoot, and edit video content for:
+ Advertising clients (commercials, testimonials, digital & social media ads)
+ Internal Marketing and Promotions (concert recaps, station commercials)
+ On-air personality content & station-branded videos
+ Collaborate with sales, promotions, and programming departments to bring creative ideas to life
+ Manage video projects from conception to completion with minimal supervision
+ Ensure high-quality videos that align with brand standards and campaign goals
+ Set up and produce live stream events as needed.
+ Work with the Digital Director to organize and maintain video files, assets, and project archives
+ Manage all equipment and maintain it in working order. Set up and take down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and other equipment at shoots.
+ Add computer graphics, closed captioning, and/ or special effects to the footage. Input sound to enhance footage, including selecting music and writing voice-overs
+ Work with the Digital Director and Sales Manager to create and update standard workflows, processes, and procedures, as needed
+ Assist other employee owners regarding basic video production techniques.
+ Stay up-to-date on video trends, tools, and best practices
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
+ Maintain a “customer comes first” attitude.
+ Notify supervisor of any special maintenance needs or problems.
+ Lead by example by using our Core Values and Great Game of Business philosophies
+ Occasional day, night, weekend work & travel.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

A representative of the digital department, radio stations, Woodward Community Media, and WCI. Presents a positive image with clients/customers and displays a client-first attitude. Great communicator with the creative personnel who work within the department. Must be a self-starter willing to embrace change and try new things.
Skills : Extremely organized and able to maintain continuity flow. Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop, and Google Suite a bonus). Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Good time management skills. Strong visual storytelling, composition, and editing skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, and/or photography skills are preferred but not required.
Knowledge : Degree in video production or 2+ years of videography and editing experience (broadcast, agency, or in-house media environment preferred). Please provide work samples. Experience in shooting and editing videos using professional equipment. Maintain a valid driver’s license. A valid FAA-Certified Remote Drone Pilot Certificate and the ability to operate a drone are desired but not required.
