    Job Description Summary

    As a Peebles Control Console Tech, you will provide support in areas of engine and test cell hardware / software configuration under the leadership of appropriate staff or project personnel.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements

    + Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation

    + Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation

    + Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations, and team members

    + Investigate, diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions

    + Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Associate’s Degree in Technical Discipline from an accredited school or institution (Or High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing or equivalent quality training)

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT(S):

    + Ability and willingness to work weekend shifts

    + Ability and willingness to work an off shift position - weekend shift / 2nd shift

    + Ability and willingness to work a reasonable expectation of overtime

    Desired Characteristics

    + Some experience with hardware / software of control consoles and associated equipment

    + Some knowledge of engine test facilities and associated equipment

    _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
