These positions will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of regulatory, ecological, engineering and environmental planning issues.

These positions will be part of Stantec’s Environmental Services team that provides the full range of expertise needed to address a variety of regulatory, ecological, engineering and environmental planning issues.
Key Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of these positions vary by discipline and include, but are not limited to the following:
+ Assist Project Managers in the management and implementation of various environmental projects.
+ Engineering support could include design, CAD drafting; project documentation (i.e. report preparation, water quality calculations, drainage area delineations, hydrologic calculations, file organization, etc.); construction observation, attendance at client meetings and various project-related tasks.
+ Assist staff conducting research.
+ Conduct fieldwork on a variety of sites.
+ Prepare other project documentation as required.
+ Track the processing of incoming and outgoing project documents.
+ Performing other duties as requested.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Engineering Interns:
+ Minimum of one year of college education in environmental sciences or an engineering field.
+ Preferred candidate is familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office software.
+ Candidates must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
+ Strong detail orientation and ability to organize and prioritize a diverse array of assignments and duties.
+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
+ Self-motivated and ability to work independently and with a team.
+ Enjoys both field work and office work.
