Job Description:
A Technical Consultant and technical expert focused on customer engagement teams – consulting with customers and configuring the ServiceNow Core Business Services Products (which includes HR Service Delivery (https://www.servicenow.com/products/hr-service-delivery.html) , Legal Service Delivery (https://www.servicenow.com/products/legal-service-delivery.html) , Workplace/Facilty Service Delivery (https://www.servicenow.com/products/workplace-service-delivery.html) and Employee Service Management Solutions (https://www.servicenow.com/products/employee-center.html) and Finance & Supply Chain Solutions (https://www.servicenow.com/solutions/finance-supply-chain.html) ) – all with the goal of accelerating and driving customer business outcomes.
Essential Job Functions:
• Serve as the technical expert in optimizing and leveraging ServiceNow best practices with a strong focus on configuration versus customization.
• Support the engagements efforts such as specific process definition, re-engineering, improvement and gap analysis of current/future-state processes during workshops with key customer sponsors and stakeholders, for these specific solutions and domains
• Advise customers in their efforts to take advantage of the ServiceNow Solution’s standard capabilities in their efforts to improve their processes
• Lead customer design workshops focused on ServiceNow Platform and Solution technology
• Guide customers in completing required documentation such as business requirement workbooks for technical aspects of the solution
• Draft more technically focused user stories, their acceptance criteria, testing strategy and knowledge transfer while supporting customers in reviewing and approving them
• Guide and provide ad-hoc oversight/training for the customer’s future system administrators throughout the engagement
• Lead technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery for engagements, sometimes providing oversight and unit testing of partner resources development
• Be a lead member of an overall engagement project team focused on delivering successful and substantive customer outcomes
• Develop required integration components (SSO, LDAP, etc.) with multiple systems
• Develop and enhance UI and mobile components using the ServiceNow framework
• Prepare all customer-facing deliverables focused on the technology and responsible for quality of configured/developed solution
• Juggle multiple and complex projects/initiatives
• Promote continuous improvement practices for delivery/engagement materials
• Support specific sales activities when required
• Provide training and mentoring to other members of the ServiceNow delivery team and partner ecosystem upon request
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 8+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3+ years in a similar role years of relevant work experience in software engineering and management
• At least 3+ years of configuration/development experience complex, global organizations in the Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay operations/technology departments
• Preferably at least 2+ years of configuring/developing ServiceNow while holding ServiceNow certifications such as a current ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification, and Finance & Supply Chain related Solution Accreditations
• Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) in an Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay organizations, while providing thought leadership to sponsors/stakeholders in solving business process and/or technical problems
• Strong understanding with leading Finance, Supply Chain and/or Source-to-Pay related systems and tools such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua, Oracle Procurement Cloud, etc.
• Experience with Web Technologies (HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, Bootstrap, CSS, middleware, LDAP, SSO, etc.) and working with SaaS technologies
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Proven experience in team management and software project execution
• Solid technical knowledge in package applications
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills
Other Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., PMP, CTO, or MBA) or advanced training a plus
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $125,600 - $233,200.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
