Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and located at the Child and Youth Services School Age Program of the 6th Force Support Squadron, MacDill AFB, FL. Must be physically able to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Responsibilities Helps to prepare items from the approved menu under the direction of the Cook. Ensures milk is stocked in rooms, sets up water coolers for use in program areas and other items. Cleans kitchen and eating areas. Operates the dishwasher and puts away the dishes. Cleans all serving items. work surfaces, pots and related items. Make sure the kitchen is cleaned and all food properly stored at the end of the day. Assists in the preparation of bag lunches for program field trips and with proper storage of food taken on the trip. Sets up snack following approved menu as directed by the Cook. Places the food, serving utensils and supplies on the carts. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution in order to qualify. Additional Information Child Development Program will provide 100% childcare fee discount for all CYP direct care staff for the first child enrolled in a full-time or regular part-time DAF CDP. A 25% discount will apply for any additional children of direct care staff.
