• Assistant Controller (Hybrid)

    Position Summary:

    To support and oversee the overall function of the Accounting Office. (Hybrid)

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assisting in the planning and implementing of the company’s financial strategy.

    • Provide leadership, training, and development to finance staff.

    • Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

    • Monitoring and analyzing financial accounting data for accuracy.

    • Manage month end and year end closing processes.

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.

    • Oversee both internal and external audits.

    • All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business or related major preferred.

    • Proven accounting work experience, preferably 2 or more years.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

    • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.

    • Expertise in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.

    • Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

    • Experience with accounting software, preferably with Oracle NetSuite.

    • Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

    • Highly organized and attention to detail a must.

    • Meet the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles.

    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
