    System One is seeking a Project Lead in St. Louis, MO to lead control panel manufacturing projects. This is a great opportunity to join a world-class electrical equipment manufacturer that provides industrial control panels and process solutions for packaging, process, facilities, utilities, and other industrial applications!

    Important Details:

    + Temp-to-hire with high possibility of conversion to a permanent role

    + Pay rate up to $40/hr. Salary will be commensurate with experience.

    + Work schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

    + Weekly pay

    + Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)

    + 401k after 30 days

    + Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check

    What You’ll Do

    + Serve as a key liaison between Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Manufacturing.

    + Manage project flow, from order release to parts procurement and final shipment.

    + Track project milestones, mitigate risks, and ensure timelines are met.

    + Identify and resolve part shortages and long lead items.

    + Oversee internal project systems (EMS and new platforms in development).

    + Coordinate with clients and distributors for scheduling and logistics.

    + Support quoting efforts by identifying alternate components to improve delivery, cost, and design.

    + Assist in maintaining up-to-date project plans and purchasing records.

    + Prioritize daily activities based on production timelines and project demands.

    + 75% computer / 25% on the floor

    + Not responsible for financials

    What You’ll Bring

    + Associate degree in business or a technical field (or 3+ years equivalent experience).

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial automation or control panel fabrication.

    + Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.

    + A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

    + Strong communication skills, project management experience in manufacturing, technical delivery experience, leadership experience, mature, looking to grow. Need to be easy to work with, easy to talk to, team based but can also work independently.

    + Ideally someone with a technical background working with electrical products (control panel) in manufacturing.

    More information

    + Occasional regional travel may be required to support project needs.
