Qualifications:
+ Proficiency in using databases and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
+ Capability to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
+ Experience with SAP is nice to have.
+ Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain preferred (open to recent graduates)
Work Environment
The standard working hours are from Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexibility for hours such as 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM once established.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role involves maintaining and updating purchasing records, assisting in sourcing suppliers, and coordinating with them to ensure timely delivery of goods. You will be integral in tracking orders, monitoring supplier performance, and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities
+ Maintain and update purchasing records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information in the company's database.
+ Assist purchasing personnel in sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, and preparing purchase orders.
+ Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the ordering process.
+ Track and expedite all open orders and monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, pricing, and quality.
+ Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including managing correspondence, filing documents, running reports, and organizing meetings.
+ Collaborate with the accounts payable team to reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and payments.
+ Prepare and process necessary documentation to obtain necessary approvals for purchasing activities.
+ Assist in conducting market research and analysis to identify potential new suppliers and evaluate existing supplier relationships.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
