As a key leader in our healthcare system, you will oversee patient financial services across all payer types—including Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurers—ensuring compliance and operational excellence. This is not a finance or accounting role but a high-impact leadership position focused on optimizing billing processes, reducing accounts receivable days (ARD), and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead and oversee all aspects of patient billing operations across our complex healthcare system.
+ Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing healthcare billing.
+ Spearhead a major ARD improvement project and other key process enhancements.
+ Collaborate cross-functionally with revenue cycle, finance, and clinical teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates must meet one of the following minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.
+ Minimum of eight (8) years of experience within revenue cycle.
+ Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in healthcare operations.
In addition, the following are required:
+ Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience.
+ Minimum of five (5) years of healthcare billing experience in a large health system.
+ Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer regulations.
+ Experience working in a multi-faceted health system, including hospital, critical access, rural health, DME, and home health billing.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master’s degree.
+ Experience leading strategic initiatives and process improvement projects.
+ Familiarity with revenue cycle operations beyond standard billing functions.

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
