ITW Performance Polymers is a Division within ITW’s Polymers & Fluids segment with headquarters in Massachusetts with additional operations in Pennsylvania, Florida, and Shannon, Ireland. Performance Polymers is a world leader in the research, development, and manufacturing of structural and semi-structural adhesives, grouting and chocking compounds, sprayable syntactic materials and wear-resistant coatings and repair compounds. Our products are designed to reduce customers’ costs by eliminating steps in their manufacturing processes, reducing the number of parts in an assembly or improving the quality of assembled finished goods. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Supportrecruitingand onboarding efforts for employees, including posting roles, collaborating withhiring managers, scheduling interviews, initiating offers & background checks, and managingorientation program to deliver an exceptional new hire experience.
+ Support HRIS Platform (Workday) including reporting and auditing, onboarding and offboarding, performance tracking, etc. with fine attention to detail and accuracy.
+ Coordinate payroll system (Dayforce), including running payroll, managing pension program, sales commissions, bonus programs, benefits deductions, etc. while maintaining necessary reports and records.
+ Oversee and drive participation in employee benefits, open enrollment, and wellness programs/resources.
+ Maintain employment practices, procedures, company policy documents, and employee filesto ensure compliance with government regulations, labor laws, and company policies and objectives.
+ Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship andsupport employee disciplinary actions including investigations, verbal and written warnings, and terminations.
+ Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics and answer any questions/resolve any issues that may arise - address with empathy employee grievances, escalating as appropriate.
+ Coordinate leaves of absence administration to ensure compliance with FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, short-term and long-term disability, etc.
+ Support employee offboarding, including coordinating exit paperwork and communication, conducting and analyzing exit interviews, and making actionable recommendations based on data and feedback.
+ Organize and maintainemployee records, ensuring appropriate employee files are kept and well-documented.
+ Promote, support and adhere to all safety, environmental and quality related policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS,** **SKILLS** **&** **COMPETENCIES:
+ Bachelor's degree in human resources/related field, or equivalent experience. Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
+ _Bi-lingual in Spanish is_ strongly _preferred._
+ Knowledge of employment/labor laws.
+ HRIS experience (Workday is a plus) strongly preferred.
+ Excellent communication, people skills, attention to detail, organizational skills,and aptitude in problem-solving.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Ability to take initiative to complete projects and assignments, prioritize workload, multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
+ Ability to understand, interpret, develop and communicate company policies and procedures.
+ Ability to empathize and defuse sensitive or contentious employee issues.
+ Ability to travel domestically, approximately 10%.
