    WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

    As the Distribution Supervisor at nVent Management Co. in Hutchins, TX, you'll lead a dynamic team. Your role ensures flawless distribution operations.

     

    + Supervise and lead a team of warehouse workers, drivers, and distribution staff.

    + Provide training, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.

    + Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    + Foster a positive and productive work environment, motivating staff to achieve performance targets.

    + Lead daily operations within the warehouse and Returned Goods Operations.

    + Promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem-solving.

    + Track daily performance and present results during morning GEMBA walks.

    + Ensure a safe working environment by supporting/leading safety programs.

    + Drive out waste through Lean methodology.

    + Prepare performance reports and maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.

    YOU HAVE:

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Ideally, 3 years of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.

    + Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

    + Knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies.

    + Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and thrive in a constantly changing business environment.

    + Abilities to meet the physical and environmental demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing and occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching/stooping. Full use of upper extremities in the manipulation of materials used in the production processes. Warehouse is not temperature controlled.
