    Foster Care Program Director

     

    $5,000 Sign-on Bonus

     

    Are you looking for a fantastic opportunity to continue your career in Social and Human Services leadership? Look no further. This role is critical to our success and exemplifies the impactful, mission-driven work we do every day.

    What You Will Do:

    + Collaborate with the Area and Regional Director to manage day-to-day operations of ARY program(s) and a team of 10+ staff.

    + Provide strong leadership that fosters an inclusive, supportive, and open-door culture for both staff and youth.

    + Ensure the highest quality of services delivered to foster youth, maintaining compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements.

    + Guide, mentor, and supervise direct staff to achieve operational goals and maximize service excellence.

    + Maintain strong relationships with Department of Children and Families (DCF) case managers, referral agents, guardians, and families.

    + Implement individual satisfaction enhancement plans to support youth stability and growth.

    + Drive program growth strategies, manage census, and assist with new service development initiatives.

    + Oversee financial performance including budgeting, resource allocation, and cost management.

    Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a closely related clinical field (required).

    + Prior foster care and/or Department of Children and Families (DCF) experience strongly preferred.

    + Minimum of 2–3 years of leadership experience, preferably supervising teams of 10 or more.

    + Other training, certification, education, experience, and licensure as required by state regulations.

    + Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.

    + Effective communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels.

    + A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach to leadership.

    + A commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and supportive environment for youth and staff.
