**Purpose:** The Director of Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) for Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS), is responsible for leading a team of individuals in analytics and market research focused on patient and customer programs across J&J Innovative Medicine franchises. This position will be the SIA point of contact for the Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions teams in specific therapy areas and will partner cross-functionally with Strategy, Analytics, and Transformation (StAT) team members to deliver insights that clarify opportunities to enhance, monitor, and streamline the patient and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development of consistent frameworks for measuring the impact of PECS patient support programs across therapeutic areas.
+ Lead StAT efforts for comprehensive assessment of patient and customer focused programs inclusive of perceptions, execution, advanced analytics, and impact metrics.
+ Understand the end-to-end patient journey and define market research and data strategies that will help support the business needs, while minimizing friction for the patient and customers.
+ Integrate market research and analytical insights to build a holistic understanding of the market dynamics and unmet needs to shape and refine patient and customer focused solutions across J&J Innovative Medicine.
+ Monitor fulfillment, persistency, and support programs across therapeutic areas and bring insights to business leaders.
+ Shape and implement strategies, with supporting insights, for PECS business partners based on key priorities and goals.
+ Collaborate across the SIA teams to integrate customer experiences insights across functional and therapeutics areas.
+ Present complex issues in a clear and persuasive manner effectively communicating recommendations to cross-functional teams and brand teams.
+ Manage budget ensuring activities are aligned to PECS business strategies and addressing key business questions
+ Lead talent strategy, including acquisition, development, and performance management.
+ Inspire and empower the team to excel with speed, agility, and accountability.
+ Cultivate meaningful internal and external partnerships.
+ Promote a team culture based on J&J Innovative Medicine organizational values.
+ Stay abreast of emerging healthcare & pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on our franchise business strategies.
Qualifications
Education:
+ BA/BS or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree desirable
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ Applicants must have at least 10 years of practical business experience in marketing, finance, or business analytics, as well as management consulting or related fields.
+ Business/market experience and pharmaceutical industry knowledge to influence company/franchise level decisions and strategies are required.
+ A minimum of 2 years of people management experience is required in addition to a proven track record with talent development and empowering an accountable team.
+ Proven analytical skills and learning agility to coach and train colleagues across multiple functions required.
+ Demonstrated ability to integrate and leverage insights and analytics required.
+ Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions required.
Preferred:
+ Diversity of experience is preferred, with demonstrated learning agility to be able to move across different types of markets.
+ Experience working with patient level data is a plus.
+ Candidates must have a broad perspective on management, a strong grasp of business knowledge, and the capacity to think strategically.
Other:
This position will be located in Titusville, NJ or Horsham, PA and will require up to 10% domestic travel
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $146,000 to $251,850.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
+ Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
+ Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
