Job Description
NOTE: This position is offered as a hybrid role in the Seattle, WA area. You must be willing to work in office at the Nordstrom Seattle office a minimum of 3 days/week to be considered for this position.
As the Senior Director Restaurant Operations Services, you will lead the Nordstrom Restaurant Division Ops Services Team to support and enable the restaurants and specialty coffee bars to achieve division priorities and business outcomes. You own the support strategy, encompassing technology, license compliance, business tools and systems, financial reporting and analytics, and restaurant supply chain and sourcing. This role requires strong collaboration across all departments within Nordstrom, as well as with the director of coffee, and the director of area leadership. This role coaches, recruits, holds accountable, and mentors current and future leaders.
A day in the life…
+ Establish goals and develop strategies in partnership with the Executive Team to support Company and division objectives and oversee the development, implementation, and ongoing management of Business Support programs including, but not limited to:
+ Technology
+ License Compliance
+ Business Tools, Systems, Reporting and Analytics
+ Restaurant Sourcing and Supply Chain
+ Anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively develop and implement new or revised plans
+ Lead the financial planning process with the Area Leadership team, partner with Finance Leaders in establishing optimal Finance integration and support to Area Leadership team, and direct and Lead the Regional Business Support Teams
+ Partner closely with Nordstrom Director of Coffee and Beverage Programs to support development of coffee bar and bar strategies and implementations.
+ Develop team of leaders of leaders to support strong talent within the organization; coach team on performance gaps and career development opportunities
+ Leverage deep understanding of the Food, Beverage, and Specialty Coffee industry to stay current on trends and effectively lead, implement, and maintain organization-wide change management (applying a strong understanding of food and beverage operations, change management, analytics, and supply chain)
+ Direct and interact collaboratively through effective communication with all internal and external customers and business partners. Ensure key stakeholders are in the loop and have alignment where necessary
+ Work closely with VP of Restaurants and Finance on creation of all financial budgets and metrics
+ Ensure close alignment with Nordstrom cross functional teams on all store design projects and planning during new store and remodel work
+ Review, analyze and create business plan around weekly, monthly, and yearly results
+ Ensure compliance in partnership with Area Leadership Team of all regulatory systems including hiring, tipping, and applicable liquor laws, and manage the team to meet all food safety service and production expectations and ensure all JWN systems (i.e., SS&P) are being followed and the teams attend the appropriate training.

+ Highly skilled coaching experience that is adept at leading through ambiguity and complex partnerships
+ Expertise in problem solving and ability to work collaboratively across business to find solutions
+ Proven experience influencing across all levels of the pyramid
+ Skills and experience with finance and analytics across a large portfolio
+ Proven success as an accomplished leader with experience remotely managing a national team
+ Ability to model superior communication skills, flexing to communicate effectively at all levels of the pyramid as well as externally
+ Deep experience and expertise within the food and beverage industry, (including specialty coffee) managing multiple concepts, locations, and brand partnerships on an international scale
+ 10+ years’ experience leading at a senior level leadership position within food and beverage industry
+ Experience and skill in Microsoft office suite with the ability to quickly learn new technology systems

Pay Range Details
The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
Washington - $180,000.00 - $290,000.00 Annually
This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
