ABOUT YOU
As Manager, Aviation Security Operations Training, you are a clear communicator, trusted collaborator, and confident leader who thrives in structured, high-responsibility environments. You bring strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and a keen eye for detail to everything you do, especially when working with regulations and sensitive security information. You’re passionate about educating others, whether designing training programs, delivering instruction, or coaching staff to meet high standards. You stay calm under pressure, adapt quickly, and proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance security, and strengthen community awareness.
What you will do:
+ Design, develop, and deliver initial and recurrent training programs to ensure Aviation Officers meet all regulatory and operational standards.
+ Create and implement training curricula and materials, including handbooks and job-specific instruction, to support security procedures at vehicle gates and airport locations.
+ Conduct outreach and training for internal and external stakeholders on security policies, regulations, and Sensitive Security Information (SSI) requirements.
+ Lead Logan Safety and Security First and Computer-Based Training programs, and support security awareness initiatives and emergency preparedness exercises.
WHAT YOU OFFER
+ Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years’ leadership experience in the military, a security organization, or airport environment, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
+ Instructor certification from a recognized training academy and proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Acrobat security features, and security technologies such as video systems, alarms, and access control.
+ Strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, and excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to assess risk, solve problems, and influence others.
+ A valid driver’s license and knowledge of 501 CMR standards, Massachusetts Criminal Law, and federal security regulations.
