Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a **Principal Specialist, Contracts** supporting the Tube-Launched, Optically Tracked, Wireless-Guided (TOW) Program within the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU). This position focuses on Proposal Activity, Contract Execution, Intellectual Property Matters, Contract Closeout, and Government Property Transfers with multiple Customers.
The TOW program has a long history of development, production and sustainment and is key to the future success of our Precision Fire & Maneuver Business Unit. We are looking for a Contracts professional that is passionate about relationships and collaboration. In this role you will work with and be supported by a close-knit team of Contracts Professionals with a wide range of experience.

What You Will Do
In this job, you will support and collaborate with the Contracts Manager/Lead and be responsible for helping lead, manage, and administer large multiple year production contracts. The portfolio will primarily include Firm Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Cost Type contracts.
+ Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, all phases of contracts execution, as well as contract administration
+ Collaborate with the Contracts Lead, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Proposal Manager, Business/Estimating and Supply Chain
+ Support program management and execution reviews
+ Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company objectives, and comply with company policies
+ Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising stakeholders of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
+ Examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
+ Identify, mitigate, drive the resolution of contractual issues as they may arise, and lead customer status meetings
+ Contract Closeout
+ Some travel to customer and Raytheon sites
Qualifications You Must Have
+ Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience
+ Experience with one or more of the following: contracts management/administration, program management, project management or supply chain, government policy, regulations and regulatory processes, or commercial contracting
Qualifications We Prefer
+ Uses strong knowledge of DoD acquisition life cycle, acquisition policies and regulations under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
+ Ability to interpret and communicate contract requirements with clarity using simple language and sticks to concrete, specific information and provides resolution of routine business or technical issues by identifying solutions and recommending a course of action
+ Ensures the contract document accurately reflects the agreement of the parties and the scope of work and acceptance criteria are fully understood
+ Demonstrates an understanding of proposal methodologies and financial metrics, including the financial implications that the decisions have on the company (e.g., relationship of risks, opportunities, and profit margin)
+ Demonstrates knowledge of latest acquisition-related legislation, rules, regulations, and their contractual impact to the business
+ DoD Secret clearance
+ Juris Doctor, MBA or NCMA Certification

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
