    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    + The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the MRI section, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA)

    + Responsible for performing studies in other modalities as trained or required.

    + Responsible in enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operator and visitors.

    + The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.

    Qualifications

    Required Education & Experience:

    + Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI

    + Must have completed an accredited Radiology or MRI program (Associates Degree)

    Required Licensure:

    + MRAD - TX

    + RTR & RTMR

    + BLS-CPR

    MRI Technologist II - PRN

     

    As an MRI Technologist you will utilize strong magnets and radio waves to create body images.

    Pay Range

    $31.92 - $46.29 /hour
