Key Responsibilities and Duties

+ Primary responsibility of the role will be to build Nuveen’s IBOR, ABOR and GIPS performance calculation and reporting solution • Review and understand all performance calculation and reporting processes across various Nuveen affiliates and provide support to those processes

+ Provide subject matter expertise on Investment Performance and act as the functional lead on strategic projects, new product launches, process optimization, BAU enhancements, incident triaging and resolution

+ Understand the different calculation models, inputs to calculations, benchmark data usage, composite construction process, disclosure maintenance process and performance data distribution processes.

+ Take functional ownership of all data flows and processes related to investment performance calculation and reporting

+ Manage IT and Operations Stakeholder’s expectations in support of strategic initiatives

+ Lead the preparation and coordination of integration and user acceptance testing across multiple applications and business stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved in a pragmatic and timely manner

We are looking for Lead Business Systems Analyst – Investment Performance to join Investments Technology team to build a PBOR solution. The individual must have significant hands-on functional experience building PBOR solutions for Asset Management firms using FactSet and/ or Eagle.

Required Skills:

+ 5+ years of Buy/Sell side experience working at Hedge Fund/Investment Manager as a business analyst

+ 3+ years of experience on implementing investment performance solutions for asset managers

+ 3+ years of experience with projects related to IBOR systems for Asset Management firm supporting all the major asset classes

+ Ability to write complex SQL to query large data sets

+ Knowledge of FactSet and Eagle Performance

Preferred Skills:

+ Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal

+ Strong, professional work ethic; attention to detail and self-motivated.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
