    Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the field of psychology? Join our research team as a Research Assistant and play a crucial role in advancing our understanding of chronic pain. In this position, you will supervise daily activities in our active psychology research laboratory, ensuring meticulous data organization and entry in SPSS. You will also be responsible for participant screening and maintaining seamless communication throughout the entire research process, from recruitment to follow-ups.     Opportunities to Contribute

    + Plan and coordinate daily activities in an active psychological research lab.

    + Call and schedule potential participants.

    + Recontact past participants for longitudinal follow-ups.

    + Perform behavioral and neuroimaging data collection from participants.

    + Utilize hands-on work with participants to collect project data.

    + Organize collected data into spreadsheets and databases.

    + Complete initial pre-processing and data analysis.

    + Train and manage undergraduates working in the lab for project credit.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree

    A well-qualified candidate will also possess

    + Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

    + Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff.

    + Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

    + Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs.

    + Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients, staff, and multiple groups.

     

    Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.

     

    Special Note: This position is funded from grant and/or contract funding, which is renewed through provisions of the grantor of the contract. Therefore, this position is contingent upon continuation of funding from these grants and/or contracts, as well as satisfactory job performance.
