Amerlux, a pioneer in the lighting industry for over 35 years, is seeking a Graphic Designe / Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team in our Oakland, NJ office. This position is on-site at our office in Oakland, NJ four days per week and remote one day per week.
The Graphic Designer will join the Marketing Department of a fast paced, growing global lighting manufacturing company. This individual must be a creative, energetic team player with strong organizational skills and focus on detail. The right candidate must be willing to take direction and work effectively within tight time constraints and be able to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling graphic designs, video content, and managing our online presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of creative skills and marketing expertise, ensuring that our messaging is visually appealing and effectively communicated across various platforms. Initiative and self-starter qualities are required. The candidate must have the ability to accurately and creatively present data design.
Job Responsibilities Include:
+ Develop engaging graphic designs for digital and print media, including brochures, banners, and social media posts.
+ Create high-quality renderings and visual content to support marketing campaigns and product launches.
+ Produce and edit videos that showcase our products, company culture, and customer testimonials.
+ Manage and enhance the company website, ensuring content is up-to-date and optimized for user experience.
+ Oversee social media accounts, crafting posts, responding to inquiries, and analyzing engagement metrics.
+ Collaborate with the product management team to develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
+ Work with Engineering Department in obtaining product information to create and design sales collateral.
+ Work with Ad Agency in delivering time sensitive material.
+ Work with Product Management Department in creation of Specification Sheets, Sell Sheets and installation documents.
+ Creation of product animation on all new product.
+ Design assistance for trade show booths.
+ Prepare light copy writing for internal use: trade shows.
+ Other duties as deemed appropriate by Management.
Skills and Experiences Include:
+ Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field preferred.
+ Proven experience in graphic design and video production.
+ Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing tools.
+ Familiarity with website management platforms (WordPress) and social media marketing.
+ Knowledge of Mac OS X design print production process, Quark, Adobe Creative Suites are required.
+ 3D rendering or animation program knowledge a plus.
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks and manage projects simultaneously.
