Job Summary:
The Digital Merchandising - Manager will be the general manager of their assigned categories, aligned to category managers, for CVS.com. In this role they will be responsible for helping to develop the digital category strategy for site experience as well as online-only assortment and promotions. They will lead both the planning and execution of this strategy, including page planning, assortment onboarding, search and browse optimization, and content development, and will be responsible for the site metrics and financial performance of their assigned categories. They will be a strategic partner and strong collaborator with multiple cross functional teams including front store category management, digital product, marketing, supply chain, and others. Along with the item specialist on their team they will be the main person responsible for item onboarding for their respective BU, ensuring products are efficiently and effectively presented on site.
Role Responsibilities:
Delivers Results (50%):
+ Support the creation & optimization of shopping experience (across all platforms) grounded in data to drive conversion, traffic, and customer satisfaction ratings
+ Develop and execute department and category content plans (wireframes, banner creation, search and browse optimization) for assigned categories
+ Manage and execute digital product onboarding including A-item launches and early ship programs for assigned categories, as well as online only dropship assortment
+ Develop and manage online only promotional plans for assigned category in partnership with Price and Value and front store category management teams
+ Optimize assigned categories’ site metrics (interaction rate, conversion rate, bounce rate) on cvs.com; must meet forecasted goals and come up with gap planning mitigation tactics to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual goals
+ Drive digital event planning, and execution providing insights to cross-functional partners on historical campaign performance and customer behavior to influence future campaign strategy. Execute digital event activities within agreed timeframes at the agreed levels of quality and provide feedback and insights on campaign effectiveness
+ Leverage data, insights, and analytics to influence stakeholders and makes recommendations as appropriate
+ Fully embrace organizational improvement initiatives, acting as a change agent with one’s own team and peers and partners
Strategic Planning (25%):
+ Act as general manager of assigned categories – help develop short and long term digital strategy for assigned categories and experiences, including content, navigation, taxonomy, search, product placement, assortment designation by fulfillment channel, and functionality enhancements
+ Partner with cross-functional teams including front store category management, digital product, engineering, and marketing to provide digital merchandising input and help shape the future roadmap of cvs.com
+ Analyze overall digital business for assigned categories. Understand performance and market trends
+ Navigates ambiguity and change to achieve goals despite potential obstacles
+ Follows up on strategic initiatives and KPI performance
Drive Innovation (15%):
+ Participate in merchandising A/B test planning, implementation, and synthesis. Drive A/B testing roadmap for assigned categories
+ Relentlessly seek out the optimal user experience for all onsite features, delivering a best-in-class experience
+ Partner with analytics and optimization teams to synthesize complex web data, product performance and voice of customer data to form actionable insights to accelerate growth
+ Partner with vendors to understand market insights and trends, identify new opportunities and innovative ways to drive the business
+ Look for ways to break through implementation barriers rather than be impeded by them
Culture Talent Development (10%):
+ Leadership: Providing guidance, direction, and support to teams and departments to ensure smooth operations and optimal performance
+ Responsible for leadership development, succession planning, and driving engagement programs for the teams you oversee. Ensure development and mentorship of next generation of leadership talent
+ Participate with onboarding tasks for new hires; builds, maintains, and enhances all onboarding documentations
+ Creating a culture centered on inclusion and well-being
+ Promotes a high-performance culture by clearly setting goals and expectations
+ Act as a trusted coach and mentor for team to develop and support IDPs for high potential talent.
+ Leverage existing enterprise tools, such as talent profiles and enterprise development programs, to develop talent
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of prior relevant work experience
+ Experience in onsite merchandising, digital product management, or related field, especially in a consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites
+ Understanding of retail financial metrics
+ Regular and reliable attendance during normal working hours, as established by the leader
+ Any additional tasks as directed by supervisor or manager
+ **Travel-** Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly, 10% of time, based on needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications:
+ 8+ years’ experience in onsite merchandising, digital product management, or related field, especially in a consumer-focused, multiple product category e-commerce sites
+ Experience using Adobe analytics or a similar site analytics platform
+ Experience in Agile Framework for product development
+ Experience working as a strong merchant, managing a P&L strongly preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to understand not only business KPIs and initiatives, but also possess a deep understanding of the technical backend and be able to participate in project release and business requirement documentation
+ 8+ years’ experience building high-performing teams
+ 8+ years’ experience engaging and inspiring teams to achieve both short-term, and long-term goals
+ 8+ years’ experience influencing without authority
+ Strategic thinker complemented with ability to develop and communicate solid plan
+ Passion for digital and how new offerings and capabilities can meaningfully drive engagement, empowerment, and the overall consumer experience in health care
+ Advanced degree

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
