Description
We are looking for a Multi-Cloud Systems Administrator to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to manage and maintain system infrastructures, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will excel in troubleshooting technical issues, implementing best practices, and collaborating effectively with colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of physical and virtual systems to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage system infrastructures by allocating storage, tuning performance, and applying critical updates.
• Monitor and analyze system performance logs to identify and resolve anomalies or technical issues.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data and IT infrastructure.
• Collaborate with team members to recommend and implement system functional specifications and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures while maintaining up-to-date system documentation.
• Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues and delivering timely resolutions.
• Assist in onboarding processes by configuring systems and ensuring seamless integration for new users.
• Apply expertise in Active Directory, cloud technologies, and automation to enhance system efficiency.
• Lead or contribute to moderately complex projects, working independently or as part of a team.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of experience.
• Proven knowledge of system administration principles, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Strong familiarity with Active Directory, cloud technologies, and automation tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
• Experience with security compliance, policy implementation, and system documentation.
• Ability to analyze performance logs and apply best practices to resolve technical issues.
• Proficiency in managing backups, recovery processes, and system upgrades.
