Description We are looking for an experienced Signal Engineer VI to lead the development, design, and implementation of advanced signal and image processing systems. This long-term contract role involves working on highly complex technical challenges and collaborating with senior management to drive innovative solutions. The position is based in Orlando, Florida, and offers an opportunity to shape cutting-edge technologies that impact multiple industries.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop systems for signal and image collection, processing, and dissemination.
• Conduct in-depth analysis and create system architectures that integrate advanced signal and image processing technologies.
• Lead the development of innovative solutions to extract and analyze data from various signal and image sensors.
• Apply advanced theories, such as detection, estimation, and neural networks, to enhance system capabilities.
• Oversee the implementation of signal processing systems using state-of-the-art computer hardware and architectures.
• Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define operational objectives and assess project success.
• Tackle complex technical problems, using independent judgment to develop effective methods and evaluation criteria.
• Manage and mentor team members, ensuring growth and alignment with organizational goals.
• Serve as a liaison with executive leadership to influence decision-making and align technical strategies with customer needs.
• Develop technical roadmaps and innovative concepts to address customer challenges and objectives. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in signal engineering or a similar discipline.
• Expertise in designing and analyzing systems for signal and image processing.
• Strong knowledge of advanced theories, including neural networks and speech processing.
• Proficiency in integrating and implementing signal processing systems with modern computer architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and solve technical challenges independently.
• Exceptional leadership skills with experience supervising and mentoring teams.
• Proven track record of collaborating with senior management and influencing strategic decisions.
• Familiarity with developing technical solutions and roadmaps that address customer requirements.
