Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and design custom projects.

• Utilize creativity, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving abilities.

• Apply design techniques, tools, and principles to produce precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

• Create layouts and generate new images using computer software.

• Use Adobe Imaging software (Illustrator, Photoshop), CAD software, and graphics software.

• Modify and refine designs to meet customer specifications, production limitations, or changes in design trends.

• Perform hands-on reverse engineering and design, including tolerance stack-up, fit, and function.

• Coordinate the look and function of product lines.

• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, production, sales departments, and customers to establish and evaluate design concepts.

• Design graphic materials for use as illustrations.

• Utilize Excel, Word, and Microsoft Project.

• Manage files, including revision history, engineering change requests, and part number catalogs.

• Support project management efforts related to design and development.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Ability to read blueprints and layout project directions.

• Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

• Commitment to quality, safety, and continual improvement.

• Ability to work frequent overtime and travel as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $43.25/hr.
