Job Description
An Orlando-based company is seeking a Senior Accountant to focus on fixed asset management and participate in additional projects as requested by the Controller.
Responsibilities
+ Manage fixed assets and intercompany accounting.
+ Prepare commercial invoice additions.
+ Evaluate costs of rentals, accessories, and goods sold.
+ Perform journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaid fixed assets, and clearing accounts.
+ Handle asset transfers.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in fixed assets and intercompany accounting.
+ Experience with SAGE ERP and Thompson Reuters for fixed assets.
+ Strong skills in asset transfer and foreign exchange.
+ Audit experience.
+ Ability to perform journal entries and reconciliations.
+ Experience in month-end processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ 5+ years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with currency exchange for USA, UK, Canada, and Germany preferred.
+ Problem-solving skills.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Self-motivated and a critical thinker.
+ Project-driven with analytical skills.
Work Environment
The work environment is casual and drama-free, with bonuses based on KPI execution and performance. The position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule with four days in the office and one remote day, which can vary according to personal needs. Employees work in cubicles from Monday to Thursday, with the option to work from home on Fridays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
