Job Description
As a Training Specialist, you will facilitate onboarding and role-based training for new and incumbent employees. You will evaluate participant performance and collaborate with management to develop and implement learning strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct onboarding, product, service, technical, and soft-skills learning programs for staff and leadership as assigned.
+ Customize and deliver learning programs using diverse delivery methods, including in person, online, synchronous, asynchronous, and a combination thereof.
+ Evaluate on-the-job trainer and trainee performance, communicate findings, and collaborate with management to develop and implement learning strategies.
+ Act as a liaison between Talent Management, On the Job Trainers, and Management to assess current training, gather feedback on training needs, and recommend enhancements to learning programs.
+ Assess course participants to measure knowledge transfer and the effectiveness of training. Provide findings to and collaborate with Instructional Designer to update/enhance course material(s) as necessary.
+ Develop a working knowledge and understanding of company products, services, processes, systems, and learning philosophy to effectively facilitate product, service, technical, and soft-skills training as assigned.
+ Maintain Talent Management processes, data tracking, and reports as assigned.
+ Assist in the implementation of work plans for new Training Specialists.
+ Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.
+ Participate in all required and recommended training and development, and demonstrate attained knowledge.
+ Participate in company teams, projects, and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises.
+ Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
+ Embrace and apply the company's guiding principles to all activities and responsibilities, supporting the company's initiatives by demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.

Work Environment
The work environment offers a hybrid opportunity with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, including 3 days in-office and 2 days remote. Employees can choose to work in offices located in Malta, NY (preferred), Poughkeepsie (HQ), Wappingers Falls, or Middletown, NY.
However, occasional travel to Poughkeepsie HQ is required, approximately a few times per quarter. The team consists of 6 individuals, contributing to a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
