    Metal Inspector / Fabrication

    Job Description

    The Inspector will perform quality inspections and tests on finished metal products, ensuring they meet stringent standards. This role involves utilizing hand and power tools daily and includes general labor tasks such as physical lifting of metal products. Attention to detail and organization are essential components of this position.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct quality inspections and tests on finished metal products.

    + Utilize hand and power tools effectively.

    + Perform general labor tasks including physical lifting of metal products.

    + Maintain high attention to detail and organization in all tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in inspection and quality control processes.

    + Experience using calipers and micrometers.

    + Knowledge of metal fabrication and finishing.

    + Ability to conduct thorough quality checks.

    + Experience with manufacturing inspection.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing and shop environment.

    + Certifications related to manufacturing are advantageous.

     

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a non-climate controlled facility operating on a 1st shift schedule, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
