    Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team for a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, with potential on-call requirements. The working hours are from 6 AM to 2:30 PM or 3:30 PM, and you will be based in Sugarcreek, OH. The role involves working on industrial equipment and components, with a focus on both electrical (70%) and mechanical (30%) tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, replace, and troubleshoot industrial equipment and components.

    + Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs, particularly with 480v and 3-phase motors.

    + Perform strong PLC troubleshooting with Siemens and other systems.

    + Program and troubleshoot VFDs, including Danfoss, SEW, and Siemens.

    + Read and interpret electrical schematics.

    + Strip and rebuild mechanical machinery.

    + Perform hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

    + Fit and replace machine parts as needed.

    + Work with industrial network systems.

    + Maintain and troubleshoot robotic systems, such as Fanuc.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical maintenance with 480v and 3-phase systems.

    + Experience with PLCs and VFDs for troubleshooting.

    + Strong mechanical skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine repair.

    + Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field, or 5 years equivalent work experience.

    + 2+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems, or 7+ years without a relevant diploma or degree.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in ceramics, metal, or building products industries is a plus.

    + Familiarity with kilns and extruders.

    + Knowledge of AutoCAD for creating and managing electrical and mechanical drawings.

    + Experience with Fanuc robotics.

    + Ability to design and maintain industrial network systems.

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working in a large manufacturing facility that is part of a family-owned company since 1885. This is a heavy industrial environment, dealing with ceramics, and it can be dusty, cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. The facility is one of eight plants located in Sugarcreek.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Sugarcreek, Ohio.

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
