Description

Primary Responsibilities

- Oversees multiple departments of the equipment yard operations, with an emphasis on forklift operations and loading trucks.

- Assists in planning work schedules, determining workforce needs, material qualities, construction equipment requirements, and crew training needs.

- Plans, coordinates, and delegates work to crew as needed.

- Inspects and ensures work is performed in conformance with specifications.

- Monitors attendance and performance of yard employees.

- Understands safety procedures and ensures they are followed by all yard employees.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.

Two years of related work experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experienced forklift operator (and supervises of forklift operator)

Ability to exert heavy physical effort and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material.

Frequently walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching and climbing.

Comfortable working in a primarily outdoor working environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to candidates with formwork / concrete construction experience supporting forklift operations and yard supervision.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
