    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated individuals to fill two cook positions, offering flexible hours ideally within the range of 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM, including weekends. As a cook, you will perform a variety of food service production activities, focusing on both hot and cold food preparation for patient services, retail, and catering operations while adhering to all dietary requirements. You will handle and store food in compliance with regulatory standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare food items by cutting, chopping, slicing, dicing, pureeing, and marinating, including washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding vegetables and fruits, as well as weighing and measuring designated ingredients.

    + Follow standardized recipes using various cooking techniques such as sautéing, broiling, braising, blanching, baking, grilling, deep frying, and steaming, while ensuring proper food quality and serving temperatures.

    + Chill and store foods in designated areas, adhering to labeling, dating, food safety guidelines, rotation procedures, and completing food safety quality control logs.

    + Ensure compliance with special dietary requirements, nutritional restrictions, allergens, modified textures, and other dietary needs.

    + Clean kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to maintain high sanitation standards.

    + Provide customer service in a professional and friendly manner, following food safety and portion guidelines.

    + Clean and sanitize work station and utensils.

    + Use equipment and materials properly and safely.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
