Job Title: Multi Craft Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift position. The role involves conducting preventative maintenance such as greasing, lubing, checking for wear, ensuring component functionality, and tightening bolts. Additionally, you will be responsible for reactive maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs to coil processing equipment, shear cutters, conveyors, rollers, hydraulics, pneumatics, drop tables, motors, gears, bearings, and forklifts. You must be proficient in electrical troubleshooting up to 480v 3-phase, including tasks involving fuses, switches, LOTO, and voltmeter usage. Duties also include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, along with building and grounds maintenance such as mowing, snow removal, replacing lights, and managing raking systems.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct preventative maintenance tasks including greasing, lubing, and checking component functionality.

+ Perform reactive maintenance on coil processing equipment, shear cutters, conveyors, rollers, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.

+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480v 3-phase.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

+ Maintain building and grounds, including mowing, snow removal, and lighting.

+ Handle facility maintenance tasks as they arise.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years mechanical maintenance experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, and pumps.

+ 2+ years electrical maintenance experience up to 480v 3-phase.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

+ Comfortable with facility maintenance tasks.

+ Team player mentality.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ PLC troubleshooting experience.

+ Fabrication experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is set in a large facility equipped with large-scale metal processing equipment and offers an open concept layout. It is bright and well-ventilated, ensuring comfort during work hours. Employees have access to a brand new cafeteria with additional incentives available for use at the market. Steel toe boots are required, with a willingness to obtain metatarsal boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $64480.00/yr.

- Medical (BCBS), Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Life Ins, 401 with 5% match

- Family owned and company is continuing to grow

- Accrue 120hrs PTO over 1st year (can also request/take unpaid time off in no PTO in the system) + 7 paid holidays (eligible to start using after 90 days, can rollover 40hrs/yr)
