    Job Title: HVAC Helper

    Job Description

    Utilize your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems. Diagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components. Primary areas of expertise include rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, and electrical control systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex heating and cooling systems.

    + Diagnose causes of breakdowns and test parts using appropriate instruments.

    + Disassemble and assemble parts to make necessary repairs.

    + Work with rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, and electrical control systems.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of commercial/residential HVAC experience

    + Experience with troubleshooting and installation

    + Knowledge of duct work

    + Experience with rooftop units

    + EPA certification is a bonus

    Work Environment

     

    Normal work week is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with one-half hour for lunch. Must be available to work flexible start and stop times and more than 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week during and after normal business hours, including holidays and weekends if needed.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Williamsburg, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
