Job Title: Order Selector

Job Description

We are hiring for an Order Selector position! In this role, you will operate an electric pallet jack to pick pallets off shelves, move between refrigerated, freezer, and dry sections throughout the shift, stack and wrap pallets, load, unload, and stage materials, and use a handheld RF scanner to scan proper products. This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 days. The shift is Sunday through Thursday from 6pm to 4am. This is a fully on-site position located in Linden, New Jersey.

Responsibilities

+ Operate an electric pallet jack to pick pallets off shelves.

+ Move between refrigerated, freezer, and dry sections throughout the shift.

+ Stack and wrap pallets.

+ Load, unload, and stage materials.

+ Use a handheld RF scanner to scan proper products.

Essential Skills

+ Warehouse experience.

+ Experience operating an electric pallet jack.

+ Ability to work in a cold environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Successful completion of a machine test on site during the interview.

+ Steel toe boots are required.

Work Environment

The work environment includes freezer and refrigerated sections of the warehouse. It is a fast-paced environment with shifts from 6pm to close. Appropriate attire such as jackets, gloves, and hats are provided for working in the cold sections.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linden, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.50/hr.
