Job Title: Mechanical Assembler : $23 to $24 per hour : Minneapolis, MN
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler and contribute to the creation of industrial floor scrubbers and cleaners. You will engage in mechanical and electrical assembly using various tools, working off layouts and work orders on our computer system. Your role involves assembling components such as hydraulics, wire harnesses, batteries, and mechanical systems across multiple sub-assembly operations and main line stations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial floor scrubbers and cleaners using air, pulse, pneumatic, torque, power, and hand tools.
+ Work off layouts and work orders on the computer system.
+ Assemble components including hydraulics, wire harnesses, batteries, and mechanical systems.
+ Perform housekeeping and 5S to maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
+ Work on a minimum of 4 overall stations, with at least 2 on the main line.
+ Participate in build processes with moderate build times, typically between 6 to 10 hours.
+ Maintain company tools and equipment.
+ Conduct in-process quality checks and communicate results.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ year of related experience in Mechanical, Electrical, or Hydraulic assembly.
+ Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in a large manufacturing environment.

Work Environment
Work at the corporate headquarters of a large manufacturer of industrial floor cleaners and scrubbers. The facility features a large shop with fabrication and assembly sections, prioritizing safety in all operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.10/hr.
