Position Responsibilities:
+ Must be proficient in JDA/Blue Yonder space planning software
+ Analyze large, complex data sets to address strategic and operational business questions
+ Distills and communicates key insights across all levels of the organization
+ Perform data analysis, build business models, and develop reports / dashboards to support supplier and retailer guidelines, including shelving guidance giving leverage to regional marketing teams for use by local sales teams.
+ Delivery of standard category management practices: shelf management, promotion planning/analysis, pricing analysis, and business development projects.
+ Responsible for supporting strategic planning by delivering forward-looking consumer/shopper analysis to increase our overall business through evaluating threats, implications, opportunities and making actionable recommendations
+ Conduct supplier/brand analyses – including financials, pricing, profitability, and simulation models pertaining to market data to strategize business optimization, promotions, categories, pricing, forecasting, and planning.
+ Provides specific and targeted analytical expertise to identify gaps in current performance and quantify opportunities to accelerate performance.
+ Manage multiple data initiatives, projects, metrics and ad-hoc analysis for Growth Team
+ Other projects or duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s Degree with preferred focus in Business, Management, Marketing, or Statistics
+ 3-4+ years’ related experience
+ Intermediate/Advanced level for MS Excel, PowerPoint; prior experience with data visualization applications (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
+ Working knowledge of key data systems: syndicated marketplace information and data (IRI, Nielsen, Numerator, Kantar)
