    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Email Development Specialist for a contract position focused on the hands-on development and execution of email campaigns. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a strong technical background in crafting high-quality, responsive email templates for Hyatt’s Personalization Engine (HPE). HPE powers Hyatt’s Website, Mobile App, Emails and other internal Applications to provide content and offers that are most relevant to our guests using an extensive content and offers library and AI/ML powered recommendations throughout the guest journey. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Create and code responsive email templates using HTML/CSS. • Test and troubleshoot email templates across multiple platforms and email clients using inbox testing and Litmus. • Implement email personalization and dynamic content to enhance user engagement. • Prepare and design templates, manage scheduling, and QC testing. • Document implementation and testing processes as well as any best practices. • Day-to-day activities will be a mix of email template creation and refinement using our WYSIWYG tool (Stripo), and updating existing templates built with HTML and CSS. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: • Proficient in HTML/CSS for email development with a portfolio of past work. • Experience with multiple email service providers (ESP’s) and understanding of email rendering. • Experience with WYSIWYG email builders and how the code they create is generated and rendered. • Knowledge of email compliance and deliverability best practices including GDPR and CAN-SPAM. • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. • 3+ Years experience building and troubleshooting emails in HTML and CSS. PREFERRED SKILLS: • College degree. • Experience with Stripo email template builder tool. • Experience with SendGrid, Acoustic, and/or Adobe AEM. • Experience with Litmus email rendering tool. • Experience with JavaScript. EDUCATION: High school diploma/GED required and 3+ year work experience.

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
