The new Michigan Youth Treatment Center is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Departmental Analyst to support the Director in executing essential administrative and financial functions within a juvenile justice setting. This vital role involves developing and reviewing budget recommendations related to operational expenses, personnel costs, capital projects, and more. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Director and Budget Office to monitor and track facility funding, including state and federal allocations, ensuring financial readiness for both routine and emergent needs. The analyst will also contribute to long-range planning, policy development, and strategic decision-making in collaboration with facility leadership and central office staff. This position serves as the Department Analyst for Michigan Youth Treatment Center (MYTC) with responsibility for budget and business activities and various SIGMA purchasing functions. This position reports directly to the Director of MYTC.

Additional Requirements and Information
The physical location of this position is at the Michigan Youth Treatment Center (MYTC), 400 N. Rose Street, Mt. Clemens, MI.
Employees will be provided computers to perform state work. Phones may also be provided for necessary communications. If working remotely, employees will be responsible for providing other components of a remote office at their own expense, including:
+ A secure work location that allows privacy and prevents distractions.
+ A high-speed internet connection of at least 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload.
+ Suitable lighting, furniture, and utilities.
