Job Overview
The University of Dubuque is a growing faith based University that is seeking a **Graduate Assistant for Admission Operations** in the Office of Admission for the 2025-2026 term, with a potential renewal for 2026-2027.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Answer the university main phone, and transfer to appropriate department/person
+ Data entry of new prospective student inquiries, campus visit details and applications for admission
+ Prepare direct mail campaigns to include printing, labeling and sorting
+ Assist with office of admission administrative tasks
+ Perform other duties as assigned in support of the _University's Mission_
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Bachelor's degree is required, and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program
+ High level of organization and attention to detail
+ Effective communication skills; both orally and written
+ Dress and act professionally
+ Flexibility and availability to work scheduled times Monday - Saturday
All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week. Additionally, domestic GA's have the option to participate in work-study. Although it may be within a different department from which the GA serves.
