Make a difference in Imaging!

As a full-time CT Technologist I at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends. The CT Technologist I, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient’s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Night shift schedule is 7:00pm - 7:30am.

We are currently offering a $7,500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs!

Summary of Essential Duties:

+ Accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions

+ Administer contrast material

+ Prepare and operate CT scan equipment

+ Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images

+ Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading

+ Cleans and disinfects patient rooms

+ Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications

Education:

+ High School Diploma or GED required

+ Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required

Licensure/Certifications:

+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required

+ California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required

+ American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred

+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required

Experience:

+ A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred

+ Applicants with 2 years + experience may be considered as a CT Tech II
