Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Hospitality Associate to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New York, New York. This role requires a customer-focused individual who can support a variety of office hospitality needs, including preparing and maintaining conference rooms and catering services. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, flexibility, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a corporate environment.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and arrange conference rooms, including setting up furniture, audio/visual equipment, and refreshments as per daily schedules.
• Ensure conference rooms and catering areas are cleaned and reset after meetings or events.
• Coordinate food and beverage services for meetings, events, and other office functions.
• Monitor and maintain an inventory of catering and hospitality supplies.
• Communicate effectively with vendors to manage catering deliveries and returns.
• Provide a welcoming and organized front-of-house presence, ensuring a positive atmosphere for guests and employees.
• Support early morning or late evening events, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in shared spaces, such as kitchens and breakrooms.
• Collaborate with team members to adjust to evolving office needs and expectations. Requirements • At least one year of experience in an office environment, preferably in hospitality or catering.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to demonstrate attention to detail and a courteous demeanor.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
• Familiarity with setting up and operating audio/visual equipment for meetings.
• A proactive and trainable attitude, with a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
• Commitment to a minimum of two years in the position, with a preference for candidates seeking long-term growth.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and occasional overtime hours as required.
