Responsibilities

Our Finance Department is seeking a Financial Analyst - Decision Support Analyst to join our team. Provides accurate and timely information to management by providing opportunity identification, information sources, data collection and analysis, workflow analysis, statistical analysis, benchmark determination, process improvement design and measurement.

• Local only position in Chandler, AZ

• Hybrid role with 3 days in office, 2 days remote, once trained

• Cost accounting or decision support experience a plus

• Strata software or Microsoft Excel experience a plus

• Ability to work within a team and independently

• The position will provide guidance, support and financial analysis and reporting for Strategy, Financial Operations and facility leadership team throughout 7 Arizona and 3 Nevada hospitals

• Understands net revenue, payor reimbursement methodologies (government and private), and coding such as ICD-10 diagnosis, ICD-10 procedures, service lines, DRGs, etc.

• The position will develop, prepare, and interpret moderate–to–complex financial analyses, financial projections, financial modeling, and reports used by hospital leadership in decision-making

• Maintains collaborative spirit and fosters strong partnering relationships across Strategy, Financial Operations and throughout the organization

• Provides financial and analytical expertise and assistance by effectively preparing and communicating financial information as requested

This is a Hybrid/Remote role in Chandler, AZ

Qualifications

Four years accounting or finance experience

BS degree in accounting or finance preferred

Healthcare experience highly preferred

Cost accounting/decision support experience a plus

StrataJazz cost accounting software preferred

Pay Range

$27.77 - $40.27 /hour
