This is a Part Time Position. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Provide direct patient care in the clinical setting. * Communicate with physicians, nurses and other staff about patients’ clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology. * Respond quickly and accurately to changes in conditions of response to treatment.  * Assist Physician with examination and treatment of patients.   * Check vitals, i.e. height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure of each patient, assists with patients' medical histories laboratory tests and applies bandages.  * May instruct patient regarding home treatment and perform other administrative tasks such as medical records, bookkeeping, and answering phones.  * Avoid supply waste & is cost effective. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited school of vocation nursing preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  Six months nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred. LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Current Texas or Compact LVN license licensure and current CPR certification required. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of accreditation process also necessary.
