Job Description:

+ Assist students' transition throughout the building.

+ Assist with monitoring students during reading instruction.

+ Meet with students at the bus before and after school.

+ Monitoring students for toileting needs.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Ability to establish good relationships and get along with children; maintain order and enforce school regulations.

+ Ability to get along with teachers, administrators and staff.

+ Good power of observation; dependability; neat personal appearance; tact; courtesy; and good judgment.

+ Prior experience caring for students with disabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma; OR

+ Four (4) years experience in the care and supervision of children; OR

+ An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (1) and (2)
