    **Location:** Dallas, TX | **Pay Rate:** $37.86/hour | **Schedule:** Full-Time, 2nd Shift (3pm - 1:30am)

    About the Role:

As an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of advanced avionics and electrical systems. This high-impact role involves providing expert guidance in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing cutting-edge aircraft systems to maintain peak performance and safety.     What You’ll Do:

    + **Lead with Expertise** : Perform high-level operational tests and troubleshooting of avionics/electrical systems. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.

    + **Test and Repair Systems** : Conduct functional and operational tests on avionics and aircraft systems, ensuring that repairs are made to the highest quality standards and meet engineering specifications.

    + **Problem-Solving Excellence** : Diagnose and repair electrical/avionics components using best practices such as soldering, splicing, and pinning of wiring.

    + **Ensure Quality** : Oversee installations to ensure compliance with engineering changes and modifications. Maintain thorough documentation of all work performed on aircraft.

    + **Set Up & Operate Equipment** : Set up and use test equipment to evaluate system performance and reliability.

    + **Lead Compliance & Safety** : Enforce safety protocols, maintain FOD, tool control, and 5-S programs, and ensure all operations meet regulatory standards.

    + **Adapt to Schedule Changes** : Work with the team to adjust to sudden changes while keeping projects on track.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + 6 years of experience in avionics/electrical systems OR 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics + 4 years of experience

    + Demonstrated expertise in avionics testing, troubleshooting, and component repairs

    + Live aircraft experience

    + Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints

    Preferred:

    + A&P (FAA Airframe & Powerplant) license

    + FCC License and NCATT Certification

    + Proficiency in other aircraft systems (e.g., hydraulics, landing gear, flight controls)

    + APU or engine run qualification

    + Experience in flight testing and aircraft certification

    **Pay Details:** $37.86 per hour
