Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua‘i community with accessible quality health care. The largest medical center on Kaua‘i, it is a state-of-the-art acute care facility with a full suite of services offering 30 specialties and programs, including cardiology, emergency, family practice, gastroenterology, health management, internal medicine, neurology, OB-GYN, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics and urology. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island’s Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. At Wilcox Memorial Hospital, we offer the latest technological diagnosing and testing services so that patients can obtain the most accurate information about their health and our medical staff can design the best treatment plans. Our MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) department handles the complex process of creating two-dimensional images of soft tissues and cells in the body. The MRI team is composed of technical and medical professionals who ensure that this powerful diagnostic tool and state-of-the-art machinery is employed in a way that helps patients feel relaxed and cared for.

As the Imaging Assistant, you will help the Imaging Services department at Wilcox provide the highest quality diagnostic technology and service to our patients and their families. In this role, you will provide a variety of clerical and clinical support activities to the imaging program. We are looking for someone with excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work with others in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

**Minimum Qualifications:** High School or equivalent. One (1) year hospital, clinic, doctor’s office, or related experience.

**Preferred Qualifications:** Completion of a nurse aide or medical assistant program. Current BLS card. Previous experience in an Imaging Department. Data entry experience.
