    Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patient's surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery. Professional care services include identification of the patient’s individual needs, patient care plan development and implementation and the coordination of nursing service to restore each patient’s health before, during and after a surgical procedure.

     

    You can join our state-of-the-art Perioperative Services department and help to provide life-changing surgery services to patients at Straub. As the Perioperative Technician Aide, you will assist operating room staff with operating suite preparation and peri/post operative moving and positioning of patients. We are looking for someone with compassionate and professional patient care, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    **Minimum Qualifications:** High School or equivalent. Successful completion of perioperative technician training course within three (3) months of hire. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** One (1) year transporter, instrument technician, or related health care experience.
