    Summary:

    Vighter is recruiting a Clinical Director for a recently acquired mental health practice in the Washington, D.C. area. The Clinic Director, a W2 position, will be highly compensated for accepting responsibility for the overall performance and operation of a practice composed of approximately 11-13 professional outpatient therapists. This includes hiring and recruiting clinicians; managing practice performance and client satisfaction; providing training and ongoing developmental support; meeting fiscal goals; marketing clinical services and building community partnerships and referrals. You will also maintain a reasonable client caseload. The standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding all currently recognized national standards.

    Principle Accountabilities:

    + Oversee the hiring process for all therapists at their clinic.

    + Provide all training for clinic new hires, ensuring all required Ellie Mental Health clinical and operational policies and procedures are taught and followed

    + Assess ongoing development and training needs and conduct ongoing training as needed

    + Hold staff compassionately accountable for meeting performance expectations

    + Manage staff performance including implementing Performance Coaching, Performance Improvement Plans, and termination processes as needed.

    + Oversee peer consultation groups to ensure clinical excellence and align with best practices.

    + Provide clinical oversight to clinic’s Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.

    + Participate in Clinic Director Peer Consult Group.

    + Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation

    + Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.

    + Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.

    + Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.

    + Collaborate with franchise owner and corporate staff (as needed) to implement strategies for fiscal and clinical efficiency.

    + Monitor and manage clinic office schedules and office supplies.

    + Provide timely response to concerns raised by clients, clinicians, or external stakeholders.

    + Serve as point of contact for building management related issues or concerns.

    + Spearhead clinic’s community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with franchise owner.

    + Collaborate to promote clinic’s online visibility

    + Collaborate with franchise owner and Ellie Corporate Team to implement all required policies and procedures

    + Identify opportunities to improve client care, quality, and effectiveness, and implement changes in collaboration with franchise owner.

    Knowledge and Skills :

    + Must have exceptional customer service skills.

    + Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with limited supervision

    + Excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills.

    Education:

    + Master’s Degree or higher education in mental health discipline.

    + Independently licensed with District of Columbia issued clinical practice license (LCSW, LMFT and/or LPC).

    Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:

    + The expected duty hours for this position are 8 hours per day and 5 days per week.

    Travel:

    + As required to satisfy the contractual obligations. Commute is non-compensatory. All official travel is government funded.
