    Do you want to create and deliver innovative products for millions of customers around the world? Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and action-oriented Finance Manager to partner with our Sales and Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership team in supporting our Tablet product line. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving our sales plans, ensuring financial discipline, and influencing strategic decisions to enhance the performance of our Tablet business. You’ll also play a key role in owning the entire P&L for the Tablet Product line.

    Key job responsibilities

    • P&L Ownership: Lead the end-to-end ownership of Tablets P&L, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, and variance reporting to support business objectives.

    • Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership: Cultivate and manage key relationships with Business and Devices FP&A, collaborating with Sales and GTM teams to establish financial guardrails, plan promotional roadmaps, and drive ROI-focused sales campaigns.

    • Sales Performance Management: Analyze sales metrics, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize strategies and drive revenue growth.

    • System & Tools Management: Serve as the system owner for unit sales planning and forecasting, acting as a super user for key financial tools and systems.

    • Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular updates to senior leadership.

    • Documentation Creation: Prepare comprehensive financial reviews and reports for Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Guidance, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), and planning cycles.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

     

    - 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience

     

    - 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience

     

    - 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

     

    - 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience

     

    - 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

     

    - 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience

     

    - 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience

     

    - MBA, or CPA

     

    - Knowledge of SQL/ETL

     

    - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

     

    - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
