Crane Operator is responsible for providing the safe operation of the crane by performing crane setup, pre-trip inspection, rigging, and crane operation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Operate crane under general supervision

+ Manipulate or depress crane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions

+ Ensure load is properly secured

+ Review rigging work prior to lifting

+ Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis

+ Complete job tickets, and all other necessary paperwork

+ Life, position, and place machinery, equipment, or other large objects ad locations

+ Drive crane to work site

+ Place blocks and outriggers to prevent capsizing when lifting heavy loads

+ Move levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load line

+ Attends and participates in safety meetings

+ Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, weight and dimension requirements, and any other regulations that are required

+ Reports any and all incidents immediately

+ Able to work in all weather conditions

+ Performs other duties as directed by management

+ Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

+ Must possess organizational and problem-solving skills

+ Must be able to work with a team

+ Must be able to lift 60 pounds and handle physically demanding work

+ Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication

+ Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool

+ Must pass a background check and motor vehicle record check

+ Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work

Work Environment

This job operates in an outside environment. The role routinely works in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: extreme wind, rain, cold, heat, etc.

Pay

$80,000 to $130,000 per year. Pay Type: Hourly
